Give yourself the gift of better sleep. With over 15 years of personal experience with sleep issues and 10 years as an acupuncturist (#acupuncture) helping people with sleep disorders, I have designed an effective sleep treatment plan on how to sleep through the night, most nights without pharmaceuticals. My struggle with sleep started when I was a teenager and continued through my mid 30's. I have tried everything ranging from lorazepam, xanax, trazodone, marajuana, alcohol, calms forte, melatonin, valerian root, chinese herbs, adopogenics, sleep aps and therapy.

I have climbed this mountain many times looking for answers.
Now, I sleep naturally through the night (most nights). A little over a year ago, I started to share in depth with my patients some tried and true habits that have significantly helped my sleep. The results have been incredible.
Common questions about this program
Is it possible to sleep naturally again after struggling with sleep for well over a decade?
Yes. The process isn't always easy but you can 100% learn to fall asleep and stay asleep naturally.
Why is getting 7-9 hrs of sleep so important for my health?
During deep sleep our heart rates decelerates, our vascular system starts to relax. Deep sleep is the very best form of blood pressure medication . It's during those hours of deep sleep that cortisol levels drop and we switch over from our sympathetic to parasympathetic nervous system. Sleep enhances your memory and makes you more creative. It protects you from cancer and dementia. It wards off colds and the flu. It keeps you slim and lowers food cravings. You will feel happier, less depressed, and less anxious.
How do good sleep habits correlate with one's life free of disease (longevity and health span)?
Sleep can be seen as the swiss army knife of health . It is the foundation, the bedrock to living a life free of disease. Whatever ailment you are facing, sleep has a tool in the tool box that can help. If you fight biology you normally lose and you know you have lost when disease and sickness appear.
What is the significance in creating good sleep habits?
Creating good sleep habits is a way to teach your body that it is possible and safe to sleep. Establishing a healthy sleep routine is the thing you do nightly to set yourself up for success. There is no one way but there are a few actions that you can string together to make a routine that resonates with your lifestyle.
What does caffeine have to do with sleeping better?
Caffeine is one of the most common culprits that keep people from falling asleep easily and sleeping soundly thereafter, typically masquerading as insomnia (#insomnia), an actual medical condition. Caffeine artificially mutes the sleep signal of adenosine, one of the four nuceoside building blocks of RNA which are essential for life. Adenosine naturally increases throughout the day, also called sleep drive. The sleep drive helps the body maintain sleep-wake homeostasis, or the right amount of sleep and wakefulness over time. Caffeine disrupts this sleep signal. Everyone has a different level of adenosine that is why some people can have a coffee after dinner and go to sleep while other people will be awake all night if they drank the same cup of coffee at night. We are all unique and what matters is how your own personal body reacts on caffeine.
Why is this a 10 week course?
I have found that 10 weeks is the most effective amount of time to create real change in the body and in your sleep habits. Creating any new habits takes time and accountability. Your body's nervous system needs to be regulated, your mind calmed and hormones balanced. Consistency is key.
What are sleep tacks?
A sleep tack is a tiny needle attached to a surgical adhesive patch that sticks on your body. The needle is 1 mm long and easy to use. Similar to acupuncture needles, but much smaller, they are placed on acupuncture points that support calming the mind and heart. Once on, you don't feel anything and take it off in the morning after a great night of sleep.
What unexpected feedback have you received around this course?
Once patients started sleeping through the night, not only did they have more energy during the day but their anxiety decreased and overall health (immunity) and happiness increased.

Intimidated? Not sure where to start? I've got you. Snag a free 15 min consultation with me, and we can examine and reframe what your sleep and health goals are, and how to get you there within a couple of months.
