A Time for Deep Realignment

The new moon in Libra on Oct. 21st is all about reciprocity. Equal energy exchanges only. You are the prize and its is a gift to know you. Then the Sun moves into Scorpio, the energy becomes deeper, more introspective, and undeniably honest. We begin to feel what’s true, not just what’s convenient or comfortable. Scorpio season asks us to look at where we’ve been operating on autopilot and where our energy longs to be reclaimed. Become the Black Cat. Independent. Mysterious. And selective about who gets access to you.
You may notice your emotions feel closer to the surface, or that your body is asking for more rest, warmth, or grounding. These aren’t signs of imbalance — they’re invitations to realign.
In acupuncture, we often see this as the natural rhythm of the body mirroring the cycles of nature. The shift from Libra’s airy balance to Scorpio’s watery depth is a reminder that healing isn’t always about adding more — it’s mostly about releasing not only what no longer serves but what no longer resonates with us, what is not lighting you up. Stagnant energy, old stories, or unexpressed feelings can finally move when we give them permission. When old patterns present themselves, we feel anxious and unsettled. This is your body telling you what is no longer needed. Do not bypass. Do not avoid or escape these feelings. Sit with them. Get quiet. Feel the feeling. It is more about the no then the yes. Removing is the release.
This week, try:
Taking time to sit quietly after your acupuncture session or evening routine — notice what your body is ready to let go of.
Drinking warm teas or soups to nourish the body’s yin energy. Put on a pair of socks.
Writing down one habit, thought, or pattern that feels outdated. Then burn it.
What is one thing you can remove from your life this week. Do it. Try it. Can't hurt.
Journal prompt:
“How would l secretly wish to be doing this?”

Let this be a week of renewal — not by force, but by allowing what’s natural to unfold. Your body knows the way.
